That doesn’t mean it’s always easy to implement, however. You’re required to work hard in order to generate a great safety culture, going above and beyond the call of duty in some cases. At the bare minimum, equipment is required to be tested on a semi-regular basis to ensure it’s in good working order. Your business isn’t content with that, though — you want to go one step further. You’re willing to check all equipment much more regularly, fix what needs to be fixed, and order spares in case safety is ever in any doubt.

Rewards & Incentives Are Provided For Great Safety Statistics

Many businesses look to rewards and incentives as a result of making money. It makes sense, of course. But, if your business is really serious about its commitment to safety, you’d do well to provide rewards and incentives for safety. Let’s say you recognize those who have spotted potential hazards over the month. Maybe, you provide rewards for those who have attended every safety meeting throughout the year? Employees are much more likely to follow safety processes to the letter if you’re willing to reward them for their efforts.
