As soon as you have downloaded StaffTRAK 360, the smart excel template you can get started with your 360 degree feedback. Save a spare copy of the file, just in case you make a mistake in your working file.

 

Collecting Rater Feedback (Rater Input Form)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you have your list of raters, simply email them the Rater Input Form (which is included in your files), and instruct them to complete the form and send it back to you or to hand it back to HR anonymously.

The form itself provides clear instruction to the rater on how to complete the form and how to submit it to HR.

Processing the Individual 360 Degree Feedback (360 Degree Aggregator)

Once you have received all the individual feedback from your raters, you need to aggregate the data so it can be processed automatically by the smart, excel template.

To do this you should manually enter the scores from your 360 Degree Feedback Forms into each column, sequentially. For example, the first form’s data should be entered in the column titled, ‘Rater 1’, the second form’s data should be entered in the column titled, ‘Rater 2’, and so on…

This form allows you to accept ratings for up to 20 raters. If you receive 10 feedback forms you should have 10 raters and 10 columns of data and 10 blank columns. If you have 5 feedback forms, you should have 5 columns of data and 15 columns on blank data, and so on… There is currently fictional data included for 15 raters. (Delete this fictional data before starting). Once you have populated this table, click on the ‘360 Degree Report’ sheet.

 

Viewing the 360 Degree Feedback (using the ‘360 Feedback Report’ tab)

Once you have entered the feedback data into the aggregation sheet, you can then view the graphical and tabular report.

Your final 360 degree feedback report is a traffic light system with weak areas for development prioritized at the top. Using this, you can formulate an action plan for improvement in the priority areas.

For example, the fictional employee included in the file needs to be much better at motivating their staff, thinking outside of the box, providing clarity about the wider organizational content, and creating a more fun team environment.
