English is one of the compulsory subjects for CBSE upper primary level. You must be good at English, not only for exams but for other aspects of your life. Class 7 is the best time to develop a strong foundation in English so that you are not just good in writing skills, but are also fluent in talking in English. Language and grammar are very important to score well in English. The literature section depends on your reading and comprehension skills. The body of the letter should be simple and brief. Do not use ornamental words and phrases. State your purpose directly and keep your letter short. Solving sample papers: After completing the syllabus, the students should solve sample papers. They give you an idea of time management and marks distribution. Also, you will be able to identify the topics from where frequently asked questions are asked in exams. Certain parts of the syllabus need to be emphasized and carry higher weightage in exams. Once you are able to identify your weakness through mock tests, you can revise the subject again to strengthen your answering skills.
